Lisa Budd
Lisa Budd's artwork is inspired by the surrounding beach and marshes where she lives. She has always been fascinated with watercolor and strives to capture the light and luminous qualities of her subjects. Working from sketches or photos, she prefers to mix her pigments on the paper, letting the colors blend. The series of fish paintings are achieved by pouring paint on 'yupo' paper and lifting out the shapes while still wet, drawing the painting with the brush. Lisa was accepted as a Signature Member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, the New Jersey Watercolor Society and the Garden State Watercolor Society. |

Alexis Cuozzo
Alexis Cuozzo’s subject matter centers on her love for the water. Living on the beach affords Alexis with ample opportunity to experience the allure of the beachscape and surrounding area. Surfing brings this appreciation to an entirely new level; being able to interact directly with Nature. The materials used, primarily oils, continue to vary depending on the character of expression. Glass overlays in my more surf related work provide a means of expressing human interaction on a wave. In my work I hope to help the viewer see the beauty of what is. At the same time the fascination and hope of what I experienced is solidified in my mind. Alexis is affiliated with the Plein Air Painters of the Jersey Coast – PAPJC, Surfrider Foundation and is an exhibiting member of the Guild of Creative Arts. |

Jane McGraw Teubner
Jane McGraw Teubner has won numerous awards at local and national juried shows. She was accepted into the 8th, 10th and 11th Annual Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Juried National Shows where she won the highest award – the 2007 Gold Medal of Honor for Pastels/Drawing, and the Pastel Society of America’s National Juried Show in 2005 where she won the Salmagundi Award for her pastel “Pebbles and Beach Grass”. Jane was accepted as a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America in January 2005, as a full member of the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, NYC and as a Resident Artist in the Salmagundi Art Club. She is a founding member of the Long Island Plein Air Painters’ Society. |
