| In this exhibition, nine artists work with recurring themes and diverse materials resulting in textures and surface tension that intrigue and invite the viewer to investigate. The conventional elements of ground and the material qualities of paint, wax, pastel, ink, graphite and emulsions inspire the subject matter; and the subject matter inspires the technique. Recurring subjects or methods reveal a perceptive and meditative approach to both intent and creation. |

This exhibition has evolved through FREDERICK GALLERIES’ desire to support the THE MONMOUTH MUSEUM and give attention to the gallery’s represented artists and their unique works of art.
Six artists are donating inspirational themed chairs in support of “CHAIR-ISH” through the Museum EXHIBITION AND SILENT AUCTION BENEFIT. All proceeds will benefit The Monmouth Museum’s educational programs. For more information about The Monmouth Museum, www.monmouthmuseum.org
